Post Mortem First Build

CURRENT STATUS

Post Mortem is the first real game that I've worked on, and I intend to continue working on it.

This version of the game is playable, and feature-complete. I've managed to remove all bugs that I've found by playtesting the game myself and feel it's ready for release.

Expect potential bugs, atrocious typos or grammar, and corny/bad writing. I intend to better myself, and continue working on this game. If you have any suggestions for the writing, or if you found any bugs or typos, then please contact me through Discord or Email. It would help me a ton.

There's a couple of things I would like to fix or tweak in this game.

  • Some animations are pretty quirky (or non-existant, i.e moving objects). and some sprites could need some working on.
  • Rooms are a bit empty in some sections of the game. Objects could need some better descriptions.
  • There's a "Cutscene" between the first and second section in the game that is pretty bad. It's just a grey screen with audio in the background.
  • Most of the game is silent. I'm not good at creating music, or sound effects, but it would really make the game more atmospheric and generally make it better.
  • The code needs cleaning up, seriously.
  • And more...

I intend to continue working on this game, and like I said, I would greatly appreciate any help at all! I'm not at all good at writing, and Point & Click Adventures are pretty text-heavy games, so any support in that department would be greeted with a big jolly ol' smile.
